I am Claudia Brugnaletti, from Rome, Italy.
I have 8 years experience working professionally on movies and commercial productions but my passion for my work started long before this!
From the age of 10 I began to study art and various tecniques after school hours and from the age of 13 I enrolled in art school were I could spent my time learning 2D and stop-motion animation techniques. By the time I was 18 years old I was studying painting at the Fine Art Academy in Rome.

After that I did a short master class in lost wax casting in Spain.
I subsequently worked in the Special Effects Studio ‘Makinarium’, in Rome, were I learned about prosthetics, prop making and painting, moulding and casting

whilst working on movies such a ‘Ben-Hur’ and ‘Tale of Tales’.
Following my dream I moved to Germany were I first worked in Hamburg as head prop painter for Prop Art on Disney Musicals such a ‘Lion King’, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Tarzan’.
I then went to Berlin to work for the Simon Weisse Atelier on Wes Anderson’s stop motion film ‘Isle of Dogs’. I was employed as a model maker and set painter. During my time in Berlin I have also worked for Movie Construction creating windows displays for department stores such as Fenwick’s in Newcastle

where I was responsible for the fabrication and painting of puppets.
My most recent move has been to London to join the team at Arch Model Studios, run by Andy Gent, in Hackney Wick. I work there on a freelance basis

primarily as a puppet maker. This involves the design, sculpt and painting of puppets alongside the fabrication of basic armatures.
During the last year I have also worked as a prop painter on the live action film ‘Fast & Fourious 9’ at Leavesden studios,

most recently I have been working as a Character Designer for animated commercials, having the opportunity to work with directors such as Sylvain Chomet.

I love being able to create another world through my work. I very much enjoy seeing a concept become really!
I’m able to offer character design, set and puppet making and painting, small size prop making and painting.
