Hello I’m Beth Quinton.
I am a painter and illustrator with 13 years experience working in animation, fine art, theatre, retail display and my own personal practice.
I trained in Fine Art Painting at Edinburgh College of Art and Loughborough University and later in Scenic Art at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. After this I landed my dream job painting props and sets for Wes Anderson’s ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’, and ever since I’ve been painting anything that stays still long enough.
Since becoming a mum I have been developing my more childcare friendly skill as an illustrator. I work with both traditional and digital media, and particularly enjoy combining the two with my experience as a scenic artist. I have recently written and illustrated a children’s book and am developing the next.
Recent projects include: Wes Anderson’s ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ and ‘Isle of Dogs’, Tim Burtons ‘Frankenweenie’, Discover Children’s Story Centre Fairytales exhibition, and sets for Dior and Louis Vuitton with Scenic Sets, Wembley.
I have a home workshop and so can offer prop and puppet painting, digital scenic art, illustration and murals.
